Introductory Tufting Workshop in Ghent: Make Your Own Rug, Wall Hanging, Mirror Frame or Cushion

Are you looking for a creative workshop where you can make your own unique rug, wall hanging, cushion or tufted mirror frame?
During this Mie-time tufting workshop, you will discover the basics of tufting. You will work with a tufting gun and create your own design on a 35 × 35 cm canvas.

- Interested in continuing at home? You can receive personal purchasing advice and buy an optional starter set after the workshop. Starter sets are usually in stock and can be taken home immediately.

Coffee, tea, soft drinks and sweet treats are provided.
The workshop is suitable for everyone aged 14 and over. Younger participants aged 10 to 13 can work on a rug together with an adult. Please book our duo workshop for this option.
The studio is located right in the beautiful historic city center of Ghent.

- Our secure online booking system is in Dutch but very straightforward. Our non-Dutch workshop participants usually find their way.
- Book your date of choice through the registration form with the links below. Find the dropdown that shows all available workshop dates (look for Datum which means Date).
- Online payment: ask us for specific IBAN payment instructions or other supported international payment options in addition to online Bancontact (Belgium) and Ideal (The Netherlands) payment.

Additional tips
Please note: During this three-hour introductory workshop, you can only make a very simple design without small details. Thin lines, dots and tiny shapes are not possible. These details are too difficult for a first tufting experience, particularly on this smaller format.
Do you want to make a larger design or add more details?
During our Basic Tufting Workshop, you will work on a larger 60 × 60 cm format for approximately five to six hours, allowing you to include more details.
